In Zonhoven, Belgium, a private villa was equipped with a complete high-end audiovisual solution, designed around premium integration, ease of use, and a strong preference for Belgian brands. Delivered by Certified Partner Pro Gear [SH1.1]and developed in close collaboration with interior architect Daniël Feytongs, the project focused on creating an immersive living environment where audio, video, and design come together naturally.
A key requirement was to integrate the loudspeakers as cleanly as possible throughout the interior, while still allowing selected products to contribute visually where appropriate. With more than 30 loudspeakers, subwoofers, and soundbars distributed across 8 independent zones, the system needed to provide flexible source selection, intuitive control, and consistent sound quality throughout the entire residence.
At the core of the installation lies the AUDAC LUNA-F audio matrix processor, enabling flexible routing and centralized zone management across the villa. Combined with an XMP44 modular audio system and SourceCon™ modules for internet radio and streaming, the setup gives the residents easy access to multiple audio sources in different areas of the home. An ANI44XT interface further extends the system’s connectivity, supporting a flexible and reliable audio infrastructure.
Amplification is handled by SMQ750 and PMQ600 WaveDynamics™ power amplifiers, providing reliable power distribution for the zones that require higher output and dynamic performance. For selected areas, EPA252 and EPA254 amplifiers were used as compact and highly energy-efficient solutions, automatically switching to standby mode when no audio signal is detected. This allows the system to support subtle background music in living spaces as well as more dynamic playback in entertainment areas, while maintaining clarity and control throughout the installation.
A carefully selected mix of AUDAC loudspeakers was used to match the acoustic and architectural needs of each room. CELO6 in-ceiling loudspeakers provide discreet and refined sound reproduction in spaces where minimal visual impact was essential, while ATEO2S and ATEO4M loudspeakers offer flexible wall-mounted solutions in selected areas. IMEO2 soundbars enhance the television setups with clear and compact audio, while BASO10, BASO12, and ARCHI10X subwoofers add depth and low-frequency warmth where required.
During the final stage of the project, an additional request was made to create a private event area in the basement, with music playing a central role in the experience. For this space, VEXO8 loudspeakers were selected to deliver the output and impact needed for a more energetic listening experience. Supported by dedicated subwoofer reinforcement, the area offers a powerful and immersive audio experience within the private residence.
The result is a complete and versatile AUDAC audio solution that supports the different functions of a modern private residence. By combining centralized control, flexible source management, discreet loudspeaker integration, and powerful performance where needed, the installation delivers a high-quality listening experience throughout the villa while respecting the architectural vision of the interior.
